Job Description Summary

Exciting opportunity for inside/outside software sales associate! Software Sales Associates play a key role in the overall success of the sales and marketing organization, working alongside and in support of several strategic teams. Some in person travel within the New England area is required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize, maintain, and build our client database to track customer activities, update, process and analyze competitive information.
  • Learn and become well versed within a full suite of proprietary software applications.

· Drive sales opportunities and bookings within assigned territory.

· Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, and develop potential sales opportunities.

  • Work with developers and strategic team to relay and ensure a clear understanding of customer's needs.
  • Reach out to qualified businesses to present, promote, and cross-sell software solutions.

· Travel to conduct sales presentations within the New England Area.

· Host virtual and in person presentations and demonstrations.

  • Perform strategic follow-ups.

· Perform targeted market research and maintain contact database.

  • Reach out to new target markets.
  • Proactively expand business relationships.

· Seek additional opportunities for cross-selling other software applications.

· Attend virtual and in person team meetings.

Minimum Requirements

Successful applicants should demonstrate an aptitude for basic software, hardware, and network understanding as well as social media marketing. Additionally, applicants should be comfortable engaging in conversations with a wide range of professionals whose experiences and education can be quite diverse.

  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Candidates without a degree but with a proven sales record will be considered.
  • Software skills: PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop or similar.
  • Social media knowledge. TikTok advertising experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience on data analytics, mobile advertising and content management systems preferred but not required.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Previous experience in sales preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • 1+ years of experience in a sales or customer-facing position preferred with technology or software sales experience preferred.
